To achieve this bold vision, MAX is raising $100M+ in the next 12 months to permanently transform mobility infrastructure and unlock prosperity across Africa.\nRole Overview: Fleet Operations Lead\nThe Fleet Operations Lead will be responsible for the Setup, Maintenance, Refurbishment and Security of the Fleet in his Jurisdiction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Documentation\nMaintain records of all vehicles within city jurisdiction and maintain records of their status at all times\nEnsure that records admitted in VAMS are without errors and reliable\nCollaborate with the Driver Operations team to monitor vehicles to ensure that inactive vehicles in your domain do not exceed 2% at any point in time\nMaintain a record of daily activations in your jurisdiction\nEnsure that every vehicle that enters the facility is checked in and also checked out when they leave the facility.\n2. Vehicle Setup\nSetup of newly procured vehicles within a defined frame and budget.\nCoordination of vehicle documentation process to complete the setup loop.\nOversee that all vehicles which are activation ready are activated.\nUpload vehicle information into VAMS accurately.\n3. Vehicle Maintenance\nEnsure that all vehicles scheduled for maintenance are checked into the premises and on VAMS.\nMaintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance and servicing.\nCo-ordinate with Authorized Service Workshops in his jurisdiction to ensure that service records are entered into VAMS.\nLiaises with OEMs to ensure Warranty issues are tracked and closed out.\nFollow up and ensure that insurance claims are closed out within the allocated time and ensure vehicles are restored to service.\nEnsure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws related to the repair of vehicles and equipment use and care.\nResponsible for maintenance of all operational vehicles in jurisdiction (These include vehicles used by verification, retrievals teams etc.).\n4. Vehicle Refurbishment\nEnsure that vehicles deactivated or churned are immediately assessed and planned for refurbishment.\nFollow up to ensure that churned vehicles are re-certified within the period set up in the SOP.\n5. Fleet Security\nEnsure every vehicle is tracked and reporting live location on the IoT Platform.\nEscalate issues with vehicle security to management and follow up for prompt resolution.\n6.Administrative Function\nManage team to boost morale and drive collaboration between the teams.\nCreate strategies to reduce cost ,increase profits and improve efficiency.\nCreate a budget for the team and present to the management for proper analysis and approval.\nEfficiently manage disbursed petty cash to ensure accountability.\nOversee inventory to ensure that spare parts are judiciously used for the purpose for which they are procured.\nRequirement.\nSkills and Ability\nStrong interpersonal and communication(written and oral) skills.\nExcellent understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices.\nProficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.\nGood understanding of fleet management.\nCritical and Analytical thinking.\nAccuracy and Attention to detail.\nConfidentiality and Thoroughness.\nEducation\nMinimum of HND in any Engineering/Business Discipline.\n4 Years cognate experience as a Fleet Officer.\nWant to Join Us?
