Their payments platform processes every dollar of that growth.\nThe Role\nYou'll work on the backend of the payments platform: subscription and renewal logic, credits, and the payment events that release a customer's order. Correctness is the job - if the money logic or a webhook is wrong, product doesn't ship.\nThis is a hands-on engineering seat on a small team, not an architecture role.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and maintain subscription, renewal, and credit logic in a TypeScript service\nOwn webhook reliability and payment-event correctness end to end\nWork with payment processor and orchestration APIs - auth/capture, refunds, retries\nWrite automated tests alongside the code; partial credits and multi-cycle renewals have too many edge cases for manual QA\nOccasional light React work where your APIs meet the checkout screens\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\n3-5 years of production backend TypeScript/Golang\nHands-on payments experience - you've worked on billing, subscriptions, checkout, PSP integrations (Stripe, Adyen, PagSeguro, Pix, or similar), or another system where money moved and had to be right\nPostgres fluency\nComfort with event-driven systems and async processing\nAI-assisted development as part of your normal workflow - expected, not a bonus\nStrong written and spoken English\nAvailability during US business hours\nNice to have\nGo \nGCP
