Prioritize work according to leads instructions.\nGrind flats in roll when needed.\nMaintains grinding wheel.\nMaintain tooling supply.\nWear proper PPE while in work areas of the shop.\nAble to measure bearer diameter with micrometer to determine taper as well as clearance.\nOther related duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nAbility to prioritize effectively.\nAbility to assimilate and retain quickly a variety of information concerning company organization,policy and products.\n\nProficient skill level simple mathematics\nKnow how to use micrometers and calipers.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nAbility to work with supervision to realize company goals.\nEducation/Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious machining experience and or trade school grad\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAble to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally\nStands while working - 2 hours at a time\nSome overtime required\nMaxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
