We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Coating Booth Operator.\nPosition Summary\nIn this role, you will be responsible for prepping the aluminum surface of the rollers and applying proprietary coatings to WINertiaTM rollers. You will ensure each product meets our high-quality standards before shipping to customers. You will work closely with our production and quality teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in the coating process.\nThe successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, including one-piece flow and 6S workplace organization. Experience running parts in a fast-paced production environment is highly beneficial, along with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. \nKey Responsibilities\nOperate and maintain coating booth equipment in accordance with company standards\nPrepare parts for coating, including masking, cleaning, and surface preparation\nHandle coating materials safely and accurately\nMonitor coating process parameters to ensure quality and consistency\nIdentify visual defects at the end of each coating process.\nPerform set ups and inspections of coated parts using appropriate measuring tools\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and environmental guidelines\nClean and maintain all masking and racking equipment.\nOperate hoist and electrical lift to safely transport parts through production process.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.\nPrevious experience in plasma spraying, thermal spray, or industrial coating preferred (will train the right candidate).\nAbility to read and interpret work orders, and process instructions.\nVery good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.\nCommitment to workplace safety and quality standards\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods\nAbility to use chisels, drills, and a variety of small hand tools.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment.\nAbility to wear dual ear protection, (Ear plugs and Ear muffs)\nAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment. \nBenefits\nCompetitive pay\nPaid 30 Minute Lunch, Paid 10-min break in the afternoon.\nBS BC Health Insurance with HSA or Flex Account\nDental and Vision Insurance\nVacation and paid Sick Time.\nShort Term/Long Term Disability\n10 Paid Holidays\nLife Insurance\n401(k) with company contribution.\nSafety Shoe reimbursement.\nMaxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
