In 2016, MAXIS GBN became a joint venture and established itself in London with offices at Monument where we employ an international team of 100 staff, with another 90 based in eight countries around the world.\nAt MAXIS GBN, we work with multinational companies to help them deliver employee benefits (EB) to their staff around the world. We are a market leader in the global EB space, offering global pooled and captive solutions as well as comprehensive wellness packages.\nWe do this through working with a network of local insurance companies (members) in more than 100 markets globally. More than 80% of our member insurers are owned by MetLife or AXA, the other 20% are independent local insurers - all are experts in their markets and help us to find the right solutions for the local offices of multinationals and their employees based there.\nOur London headquarters houses support services from global marketing to finance to client reporting and underwriting while working with colleagues based in offices in locations across Europe, the USA and Asia.\nSummary of Responsibilities\nThe FP&A and Actuarial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes to drive strategic decision-making within the company. This role involves analysing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.\nKey responsibilities include:\nRun quarterly profitability analysis on MAXIS portfolio\nPerform analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts\nAnalyse key financial metrics, operational KPIs, and business drivers\nConduct forecasting and historical series analysis to propose corrective actions to specific technical issues detected in the portfolio, in full alignment with other technical departments\nSupport strategic initiatives by providing financial modelling and scenario analysis\nConduct ad-hoc deep-dive financial analysis to support decision-making\nCalculate and review reserves for outstanding claims and policy liabilities\nDevelopment and management of technical features of MAXIS products\nSupport in the relationship with AXA / MetLife about technical initiatives\nRequired Competencies\nMaster’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or equivalent discipline\n2-3 years of experience in FP&A or actuarial role, equivalently 1-2 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm.
