The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep expertise inapplied machine learning, modern web development, Linux environmentsandsecure architecture, coupled with a strong willingness to engage in cloud infrastructure and project management.\nWhat are you accountable for?\nArchitect and deploy sophisticated agentic AI solutions usingGoogle BigQuery, Agent Development Kitsandmodern LLM frameworks. Build and manage vector databases and knowledge graphs to power context-aware AI agents.\n\nDevelop and implement machine learning models for anomaly detection and predictive analytics. Leverage managed cloud AI services (e.g., AWS/GCP APIs) and in-database tools likeBigQuery ML to deliver practical, scalable insights without the need for heavy MLOps infrastructure.\n\nLead the development of highly responsive user interfaces usingReact -including the integration of location-based services and geospatial data. Engineer robust, high-performance back-end microservices using Java (Spring Boot). Design and implement secure RESTful APIs or GraphQL for seamless system integration.\n\nArchitect and optimise data storage solutions using a combination of relational, cloud-nativeandgraph databases. Manage and scale platforms including Oracle, MySQL, Google BigQuery andgraph database technologies (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune) to support complex data relationships and knowledge graphs.\n\nConfigure and maintainLinux environments. Collaborate with IT security teams by understanding implemented firewall rules and defining application firewall requirements. Manage application traffic securely with a strong understanding ofload balancers andproxy servers.\n\nChampion high standards of code quality and version control using GitHub, enforcing secure coding practices and participating in peer code reviews.\n\nWork closely with stakeholders to understand business requirementsandassist in provisioning cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to host applications securely.\n\nWhat do you need to have for this role? \nStrong proficiency inPython. Hands-on experience with leading enterprise AI ecosystems, specificallyGoogle Gemini AI and AWS AI/ML platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock). Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), building vector databases/knowledge graphsandpractical experience integrating managed ML services or using in-database ML (e.g., BigQuery ML).\n\nDeep expertise in full-stack development using Java (Spring Boot preferred) andReact. Proven experience in building applications and integrating location-based services using the Google Maps Platform (e.g., Maps JavaScript API, Geocoding, Routing). Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design.\n\nExtensive experience with SQL, NoSQLandgraph databases. Proficiency with Oracle, MySQL, Google BigQueryandfamiliarity with graph technologies (e.g., Neo4j).\n\nStrong proficiency inLinux administration. Solid understanding of corporate firewall requirements,load balancing architectures, proxy servers andgeneral network security protocols.\n\nSolid understanding of application security (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and experience implementing identity and access management protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID ConnectandJWT.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with general cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)andbuilding CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).\n\nAbility to elicit business requirements, define project scopesandapply Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive technical initiatives.\n\nSolid understanding of telecommunication networks, including mobile (4G/5G) and fibre optic technologies.\n\nA strong grasp of core networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS) and cloud networking architectures.\n\nFamiliarity with telecommunications or enterprise OSS, including network management, fault monitoring, performance managementandservice provisioning.\n\nPersonal Attributes:\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nA collaborative team player who fully embraces Agile Ways of Working (WoW) to deliver iterative, high-quality results.\n\nA continuous learner who stays updated with the latest advancements in AI, software engineeringandinfrastructure security.\n\n What’s next?\nOnce you’ve applied online, our team will carefully review your application.
