This role plays a hands on roll in implementing product design, development, and support. Responsibilities include designing new products from concept to full production for GPS, Satellite Communication, 5G, 4G LTE, and advanced phased array systems.\nYOUR WORK AT MAXTENA WILL INCLUDE:\n\nDesign of new products from concept to full production for GPS, Satellite Communication, 5G, 4G LTE, and advanced phased array systems.\nHardware prototype construction and testing.\nProvide manufacturing support and troubleshooting.\nCollaborate with layout and PCB engineers.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and other technical teams.\nLiaison between the customer and internal teams.\nSetup/run/define automated testing for quality control and qualification testing.\nPerform feasibility studies by leveraging simulation tools.\nProvide product development status to senior leadership team.\nREQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, MSEE or PhD preferred\nMinimum 2 years of experience with Antenna specialized focus (Design & RF/ Anechoic Testing).\nDemonstrated experience in wireless communication principles including link budget analysis and propagation channel modeling.\nDemonstrated experience with complex matching networks, corporate feeds, filters (primarily SAW and ceramic), and duplexers.\nDemonstrated experience in fabrication, prototyping abilities including soldering/assembly, power amplifier input/output matching and optimization of ACP, P1dB, and spurs.\nDemonstrated experience with bench measurement equipment including signal generator, spectrum analyzer, and vector network analyzer.\nDemonstrated experience with antenna-specific measurement equipment including nearfield and farfield ranges, experience with Satimo equipment, Microwave Studio, ADS, MATLAB systems highly preferred.\nDemonstrated experience with various aspects of PCB design including schematic capture, layout, and fabrication processes.\nExperience with compliance and testing standards such as FCC, ETSI, and MIL standards.\nExceptionally detail-oriented, strong communication skills & ability to work well across inter-disciplinary teams.\nPERKS OF WORKING AT MAXTENA:\nAt Maxtena, you won’t just contribute to technology-you’ll help invent what’s next.
