WORK AT MAXTENA WILL INCLUDE:\nDevelopand document the architecture of embedded Linux systems, including hardware and software components, interfaces, and protocols.\n\nLead the development and integration of embedded software, ensuring alignment with system requirements and performance targets.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications.\n\nIdentify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring efficient resource utilization and real-time capabilities\n\nImplement robust security measures and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.\n\nOversee the testing and validation of embedded systems, including unit tests, integration tests, and system-level tests.\n\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and technical guidelines.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance\n\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or similar, MS preferred \n\nDESIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:\n8+ years of experience in embedded Linux system design and development with zero-to-shipped experience across the full product lifecycle\n\nC and C++ proficient and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.\n\nExperience with Linux kernel, device drivers, device tree patching,and real-time operating systems.\n\nStrong understanding of hardware-software integration and interfacing with peripherals.\n\nKnowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)\n\nExperience with networking protocols stacks (TCP/IP, UDP, IPsec, SSL, etc.) and Network Devices such as Routers and switches\n\nExperience with Linux Development tools such as Yocto, Petalinux, Buildroot or OpenWrt\n\nExperience with Linux security: TF-A, TPM, FDE, LUKS, HSM, etc.\n\nExperience with Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) \n\nKnowledge of various testing and debugging tools (JTAG, probes, logic analyzers, oscilloscope, ).\n\nADDITIONALEXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:\nExperience with ARM architecture and development tools.\n\nKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices for embedded systems\n\nExcellent oral and written
