In this role, you would be responsible for end-to-end process definition,\nimplementation and execution of the best practices of system engineering in the company.\nRequirements\nWork closely with (customers') system and vehicle architects to understand and derive system\nrequirements\nDefine functional requirements, technical requirements, robustness and reliability requirements\nfor the product\nConduct systems- failure modes and effects analysis (SFMEA) and design-failure modes and\neffects analysis (DFMEA)\nModeling system level and vehicle level use cases and maintaining version controlled summary\nof traceability\nDeriving system state and mode flow machine and behavior of the product and its effect on\nvehicle for each state and mode\nPreparing logical architecture and technical architecture with component owners ensuring\ninternal alignment among each component owners\nPreparing signal interface specifications for each derived signals interacting between the logical\nand physical components\nHands on with implementing V-cycle\nGood to have knowledge on safety standards ISO-26262 and cybersecurity standards\nReview and communicate the requirements with HW teams, SW teams, test teams, customers.\nMust- Have Requirements:\nBachelors or master’s in electronic or similar engineering with 4+ years of experience.\nGood understanding of automotive architecture, electrical and electronic systems within\nautomotive electric vehicles- EVs and HEVs\nBasic know how on battery management systems\nHands on with any automotive function development\nGood understanding on interfaces like CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, Microcontroller architectures, DC-DC\nconverters, electronic control units, relay drivers, solid state relays/ PDU, automotive ethernet,\nUDS diagnostics protocol, OBD, etc\nTeam player and good at cross functional work abilities\nCapable of defining the process of handling the requirements with the help of project\nmanagement and technical management\nHands on with DOORs or any other requirement management tools\nAwareness on ISO26262 functional safety implementation.\nExposure to UML and SySML topics\nExposure in writing User Acceptance and System Test Cases\n3-4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, preferably in BMS, automotive, or embedded products.\nExperience in SOR/SRS creation, DFMEA, and requirements management.\nKnowledge of system integration, verification, and validation.\nFamiliarity with CAN/CAN FD and product development lifecycle.\nStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.\nNice-to-have Requirements:\nExperience/strong understanding on ISO26262 functional safety implementation\nAwareness on ECU topologies\nExperience working on Battery management systems\nModel in Loop Testing and Unit Testing\nMandatory skills -
