ensure a smooth transition with continuity for existing leads\nEnsure cross-guild alignment on release quality, dependencies, and delivery velocity\nResolve cross-guild conflicts on priority, resourcing, and technical direction\nDelivery & quality ownership\nOwn sprint-to-release predictability across 90+ engineers\nExecute & Implement production stability, incident response, and root-cause discipline across guilds\nSet and enforce release-readiness and quality gates across Backend, Frontend, and QA\nTalent & org building\nOwn hiring, capability-building, and succession planning for a 90-person organisation\nBuild a leadership bench - Leads to Managers - to reduce single points of dependency\nRun performance calibration and career pathing for Guild Leads and senior engineers\nStakeholder & executive engagement\nServe as the primary technology voice to the CTO and NL leadership\nRepresent India engineering in global planning, roadmap, and budget discussions\nCommunicate delivery risk and technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders clearly and early\nAI & productivity\nExecute & Implement in coordination with the Core AI team for the AI usage standards for the technology org - Claude Code, Copilot-class tools, and AI-assisted testing\nEvaluate and select new engineering tooling; contribute to responsible AI governance at the org level\nManage your own workload through time-blocking and priority-setting - deliver without follow-up from the CTO\nREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nB.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent; architecture or leadership certifications valued\n15-20+ years in software engineering. \nMinimum 5 years leading multi-team or multi-guild engineering organisations of 50+ headcount\nDeep hands-on background in Java/Spring backend architecture, with strong exposure to Angular frontend and modern QA/test automation practices\nExperience managing distributed, matrixed reporting lines - India team, HQ leadership abroad\nSaaS or product-company background strongly preferred over services/consulting\nComfortable with AI-assisted engineering tools;
