Join us.\nJob Summary\nMay Mobility is entering into an exciting phase of growth as we expand our first-of-its-kind autonomous shuttle and mobility services across the nation. We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead an operational site. \nDo you love managing complex technical operations and systems?\nAre you an empathetic communicator and collaborative problem solver? You will be directly responsible to our business partners, customers, and passengers, ultimately becoming an expert in making May Mobility a part of the city’s transportation culture.\nYou will report to the May Mobility Customer Operations Manager and will be vital in ensuring that May Mobility exceeds expectations for quality, safety, and reliability.\nEssential Responsibilities\nEnsure that operations follow rigorous safety guidelines; continuously develop a culture of safety that is beyond reproach\nImplement and oversee daily protocols and reporting; track site performance metrics to systematically improve outcomes\nResponsible for meeting financial goals and aligning spending with the site operating budget \nEnsure exceptional service for both customers and passengers\nPartner with People Operations to make staffing and performance management decisions for the site\nEnsure that site staff seamlessly communicates with engineers when a technical issue arises or requires escalation\nPartner with Field Operations to train new site leadership and test new rollouts of vehicle technology\nCreate a work environment that values all team members and embodies May Mobility values \nCover shifts across days and times that fall outside normal business hours\nUp to 10% travel required\nSkills and Abilities\nSuccess in this role typically requires the following competencies:\nGoal setting and creating plans to meet customer and internal needs\nComfortable leading people and driving results \nAbility to delegate tasks and follow through to completion\nAbility to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders (infrequent)\nAbility to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions\nQualifications and Experience\nCandidates most successful in this role typically hold the following qualifications or comparable knowledge or experience:\nRequired\nAssociates degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or other degree\n1+ years experience as a people leader in a fast-adapting and customer-focused environment\nProven experience making judgment calls in ambiguous situations \nPrevious experience developing processes and managing projects\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple platforms; strict attention to detail in every situation\nValid U.S. Driver's License\nWillingness to undergo a driving record check\nDesirable\nBachelor's degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or related degree, or equivalent experience\n3+ years experience as a people leader in a fast-adapting and customer-focused environment\nLeadership experience in a startup environment\nProven change management experience\nPrior experience in an operations or logistics background\nWorking knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, Jira and Asana\nPhysical Requirements\nStandard site working conditions which includes but is not limited to:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time\nMust be able to move and / or change positions often when needed\nProlonged computer use\nMay need to lift up to 50 pounds\nInstall hardware and software\nTravel required?
