Senior Data Science Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our IOps (Intelligent Operations) pillar within the Data Science and AI department.

This leader will drive the development and delivery of a unified conversational intelligence platform - spanning chatbots and voicebots-built on multi-agent AI architectures that serve customers across their entire financial journey.

Beyond the pillar's core product mandate, this leader will architect a unified intelligence layer - drawing on the company's data assets, models, and AI capabilities - that both the chatbot and voicebot channels leverage to deliver consistent, context-aware, and intelligent customer experiences. This shared intelligence foundation will also extend beyond customer-facing applications, driving operational efficiency across the company through intelligent automation, predictive models, and AI-assisted workflows that reduce costs, accelerate processes, and improve decision-making at scale.

Ideal candidates possess deep technical expertise in GenAI and agentic AI systems, with a proven ability to integrate complex models into scalable production environments. They combine a strong understanding of financial services with a track record of leadership and translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

What you will do:

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, machine learning, AI and analytics engineers.
• Designing multi-agent orchestration frameworks
• Defining agent roles and handoff logic
• Building evaluation and guardrail systems for conversational AI
• Architecting a unified intelligence layer that both chat and voice channels leverage to deliver consistent, context-aware, and intelligent customer experiences
• Develop and implement data science strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain high-performing data science models and pipelines.
• Conduct research and experimentation on cutting-edge AI/GenAI/ML techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing, business) to deliver impactful solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and technology.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Extract valuable insights from large datasets to guide model development
• Measure and iterate on solutions to maximize customer satisfaction impact.

What we are looking for:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
• Demonstrated experience deploying LLM-based or multi-agent conversational AI systems in production
• 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing data science teams
• Proven track record of successfully delivering impactful data science projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
