deployments.\nImplement automation tools for various utilities such as testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerts.\nPerform load testing benchmarks, analyze results, and identify areas for optimizations\nLead architecture and design discussions for assigned services and domains, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.\nDrive technical decisions and influence engineering direction across multiple services.\nEvaluate the suitability of new tech stacks for existing and new platforms.\nInfluence technical solutions across partner engineering teams and proactively align platform capabilities with product and business requirements.\nOwn the technical health and lifecycle of one or more critical services, including architecture, observability, reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence.\nMentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.\nLead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and postmortem activities, driving systemic improvements to platform reliability.\nChampion engineering best practices, coding standards, security requirements, testing strategies, and operational readiness across the team.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in application development using Node.js/Typescript\n5+ years of experience in backend development\nExtensive experience in building and consuming RESTful web APIs\nProficiency with Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and exposure to NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Dynamo, Redis)\nFamiliarity with unit testing using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha and utilities such as Chai, Istanbul\nStrong grasp of version control tools (Git)\nExperience with creating, maintaining and deploying containerized applications (e.g., Docker, K8s, ECS, EKS)\nExperience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or anything similar)\nExperience with messaging systems and event-driven architecture\nExperience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud service providers\nExperience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)\nExperience in developing and maintaining critical systems in production is a plus\nExperience developing apps using Java, Golang, Scala or Python is a plus\nKnowledge of mobile frontend development (Flutter, Native) is a plus\nKnowledge of web frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Vue, Angular) is a
