If so, read on. \nMaybell Quantum is seeking Junior and Senior Mechanical Engineers, based in Finland, to develop and design the next generation in quantum infrastructure. Our Finnish office is growing rapidly and is poised to be our second largest engineering hub. Our ideal team members can excel in a fast-paced hardware-based startup environment. They possess excellent technical and analytical skills and can effectively contribute to or manage small projects while collaborating across departments. \nResponsibilities \nCreate complex mechanical designs, drawings and documentation for parts and assemblies following DFX principles to develop the most efficient and high-quality products. \nDetermine technical specifications for sub-systems and components to meet overall product development requirements \nCollaborate across teams and departments to determine root cause of issues, identify corrective actions, and implement design changes to improve existing products and processes \nMaintain ownership over sub-system development and sustaining activities (Senior) including project and resource planning, gathering of documentation and requirements, and execution of ECOs. \nWork closely with manufacturing and operations to ensure a smooth transition from concept to a fully scalable high-quality product \nBasic Qualifications \nBachelor's degree in relevant field. \nJunior: 2-3 years working experience in mechanical design \nSenior: 4-8 years working experience in mechanical design \nA proven track record of bringing mechanical concepts to reality \nCandidates must be able to work onsite have the right to work in Finland. \nPreferred Skills and Experience \nExperience in Ansys or equivalent analysis software \nWorking knowledge of the ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standard \nStrong hands-on experience building prototypes, test apparatus, and fixtures. \nMachine shop and fabrication skills \nExperience working with product safety standards (NRTL and CE) (For Senior) \nA strong understanding of software and electrical systems to inform design decisions and product architecture (For Senior) \nDue to the global nature of the Company's operations, employees may be required to work a schedule that provides overlap with U.S.-based colleagues, customers, and business partners.
