You will report to the CEO and work directly with engineers across all regions (US and internationally based) and disciplines while building the structure, processes, and team needed to scale. You will also play a key role in developing talent and growing future leaders. \nResponsibilities \nOwn Engineering Execution \nLead delivery of engineering programs from design through production and deployment \nDrive accountability on timelines, milestones, and technical outcomes \nPartner with Product to align roadmaps with engineering capacity and constraints \nLead and Develop the Team \nManage and develop engineering managers and individual contributors \nBuild a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative team \nHire and retain top talent \nDrive Cross-Functional Alignment \nPartner closely with R&D, Product, and Operations \nEnsure effective transition from R&D into Engineering and into Manufacturing/Production \nCollaborate with Qualification and Production to ensure design for manufacturability and reliability \nEstablish Scalable Processes \nImplement and improve engineering processes (program management, design reviews, change control) \nIncrease predictability, quality, and speed of execution \nDefine and track key engineering metrics \nProvide Technical Leadership \nGuide system architecture decisions and engineering tradeoffs \nSupport resolution of complex technical challenges \nEnsure rigor in development of advanced hardware systems \nWhat We’re Looking For \n15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles - management of global teams a plus\nExperience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in a hardware or deep tech environment \nProven track record delivering complex products from concept through production \nStrong systems-level thinking and understanding of integration and manufacturing \nExperience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment \nDesired Qualifications \nExperience with cryogenic systems, quantum technologies, or similar advanced hardware \nBackground in New Product Introduction (NPI) and scaling to production \nExperience working closely with R&D organizations \nStart-up experience highly preferable \nWhat We Offer \nCompetitive Compensation: Base salary range $190,000-$230,000, with additional compensation through performance bonuses and
