Head of Marketing & Brand (internal project)

Our team is developing a payment gateway for accepting funds from users on behalf of merchants, as well as sending funds from merchants to users. The system involves storing user payment data and is subject to PCI DSS compliance. It contains multiple integrations with payment systems, providers, and other gateways and processors, including 3DS.

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Marketing & Brand to own market presence, brand strategy, digital experience and go-to-market execution. This role combines product marketing, brand leadership, demand generation and sales enablement to ensure our positioning clearly communicates the value of our platform and drives measurable commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Product Positioning & Brand Ownership: Define value proposition, visual identity, and tone of voice. Translate complex B2B payment tech (PCI DSS, 3DS, orchestration) into compelling commercial messaging across all touch points.

• GTM Strategy & Product Launches: Lead end-to-end GTM execution for new features, integrations, and target markets in close alignment with Product and Sales.

• Digital Presence & Website: Own the corporate website strategy, UX, and conversion optimisation to ensure continuous alignment with product releases and messaging.

• Sales Enablement & Content: Direct the content engine (LinkedIn, customer stories, blogs) and build world-class collateral (pitch decks, one-pagers, launch kits) for Sales and BD.

• Team Leadership & Demand Gen: Lead the marketing team, oversee campaign execution, manage event/conference presence, and track performance metrics across pipeline contribution and feature adoption.

• Market Intelligence & AI Execution: Conduct competitor analysis and leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to accelerate research, content production, and GTM execution.

Requirements

You’ll thrive here if you have

• 5+ years in B2B SaaS, fintech or payment technology marketing.

• Strong product marketing and GTM experience.

• Understanding of payment orchestration, PSPs, acquiring, routing, tokenisation and fraud solutions.

• Excellent storytelling and communication skills.

• Experience managing websites, digital content and brand strategy.

• Strong analytical mindset with experience using marketing metrics to drive decisions.

• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or similar).

• Collaborative leadership style and ability to work cross-functionally.
