Works under supervision and may perform some assignments independently as discussed and approved by Principal Investigator.\nAdditional Information:\nWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our virus and gene therapy laboratory to develop the next generation of targeted viral vectors. The individual should have experience in molecular cloning of new vector designs and constructs, virology, and mammalian cell culture. Proficiency with animal models, including handling, care, and conducting experiments according to institutional and ethical standards, is preferred. The candidate should have interest in drug development and clinical translation of novel therapeutics from bench to clinic. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure timely progress of the research area. Experience with viral vector generation, characterization and purification methods highly desirable.\n Requires bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, other relevant science, or an associates degree with 6 years of relevant laboratory experience. Must exhibit a solid understanding of lab techniques, equipment, and safety. Must have the ability to organize and carry out laboratory techniques independently and in a team setting. Experience with basic data analysis is required.
