As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nMichael Baker International is seeking a Project Construction Manager to support transportation and infrastructure projects in the Philadelphia area. In this role, you will serve as the primary representative, ensuring construction activities are executed in compliance with contract documents, client expectations, and regulatory standards.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nServe as the project construction management lead overseeing construction operations, quality, schedule, and compliance.\nManage and mentor construction inspection staff, including scheduling, assignments, and performance oversight\nCoordinate daily activities with contractors, subcontractors, utilities, and client representatives\nCoordinate work activities and work plans with transit / transportation operations for planned outages to minimize operational impacts. \nReview and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to contract requirements.\nMonitor project progress, budgets, and schedules; proactively identify and resolve issues.\nPrepare and review daily reports, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay estimates.\nEnsure compliance with client standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.\nFacilitate meetings including progress meetings, pre-construction meetings, and stakeholder coordination.\nMaintain strong communication with clients and internal project teams.\nMay include proposal production, support, and business development.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field\nPE not required, but preferred\n7+ years of progressive construction management/inspection experience on transportation, transit, or rail projects.\nExperience managing CEI teams on rail, transit, highway, bridge, or infrastructure projects.\nProficiency with construction documentation systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\nCompensation\nThe approximate compensation range for this position is $111,176 to $175,758. This compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
