From casual lunches to themed gatherings, there's always something happening to strengthen our connections and make work more enjoyable.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nMichael Baker International is seeking a talented Drainage/Stormwater Engineer to join our busy Columbia, SC office.\nWhat You'll Do:\nPrepare construction plans and specifications\nStormwater design for projects including both bid-build and design-build projects\nAssist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system analysis, and sediment and erosion control design\nPerform hydrologic & hydraulic studies using software such as GEOPAK Drainage, HY-8, and HEC-RAS\nPrepare cost-estimates and technical reports\nCoordinate permitting efforts with various stormwater agencies\nTrain/mentor junior engineers and technicians\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field\n15+ years of experience in stormwater design/analysis\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in South Carolina, OR eligibility to obtain license within 6-12 months\nExperience with MicroStation and GEOPAK Drainage\nExperience with ArcGIS\nSCDOT experience\nExperience with HEC-RAS, SMS, SRH-2D, and SWMM\nExperience with OpenRoads Designer\nCompensation:\nThe approximate compensation range for this position is $120k - $180k per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
