The programme is taking place across MBDA UK, France and Italy presenting a unique opportunity to look at our process and ways of working. This role will directly influence the future system landscape at MBDA UK.\nIn the UK, we are growing our SAP team and you will occupy a key position in this. The role will involve close collaboration with the SAP team in France and Italy as well as with third party system integrators.\nIn this role you can expect to:\nSupport the maintenance of the technical architecture of the existing SAP ECC on-premises landscape.\nProvide technical guidance on SAP Basis, HANA database and application infrastructure.\nProvide technical oversight of activities include SAP Readiness Check, custom-code remediation and data migration.\nSupport technical testing, cutover, go-live and post-migration activities.\nOwn the integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP systems;\nProvide architectural guidance on APIs, OData, IDocs, RFC and middleware\nReview and provide technical governance for RICEFW developments and technical specifications.\nPromote standard S/4HANA functionality and clean-core principles.\nWork closely with security and authorisation teams to ensure appropriate SAP security architecture.\nWork closely and project manage 3rd party suppliers.\nWhat we're looking for from you:\nEssential Skills and Experience\nSignificant experience as an SAP Technical Architect, SAP Solution Architect or Senior SAP Basis/Technical Architect.\nProven experience supporting or leading ECC to S/4HANA migration programmes.\nDeep understanding of SAP HANA database and S/4HANA architecture.\nStrong SAP Basis knowledge, including system administration and transport management.\nStrong SAP integration architecture experience.\nGood understanding of SAP Fiori, Gateway and OData.\nExperience with SAP security, authorisations, SoD and audit.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management and architectural decision-making skills.\nExperience project managing third party suppliers to deliver SAP technical activities.\nDesirable\nTechnical knowledge of SAP BW, GTS and GRC.\nKnowledge of S/4HANA extensibility and clean-core principles.\nExperience in large-scale SAP transformation programmes.\nOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given\nMBDA is a leading defence organisation.
