Our expertise includes:\nOn board missile equipment such a weapon controllers, fin actuators, safety systems and data links\nFiring control units for land, naval and airborne platforms\nAutomatic test equipment\nElectrical equipment\nTraining simulators\nCountermeasures equipment\nOn this apprenticeship you'll complete rotational placements within your home function as well as in Mechanical Engineering, and some more general placements in related areas that will give you a great understanding of MBDA. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete external placements outside of MBDA, with our external contractors and suppliers.\nYou’ll get some lab experience, as well as the opportunity to create programs for automated assembly line set ups and New Product Introduction work, taking an initial prototype into production!\nThis opportunity would suit anyone that has a keen interest in how things work and is looking to learn and shape a career around a practical skill, with a love for hands-on work!\nWhat we’re looking for from you:\nThis role has specific qualification and subject criteria so please make sure you carefully check your eligibility against this criteria before applying otherwise your application will not be considered. If you are currently studying and predicted to meet these requirements by the start date you are welcome to apply.\nGCSEs:\nA minimum of 5 GCSEs at minimum grade 4.\nThis must include:\nEnglish Language\nMathematics\nAny Science or Technology subject\nAfter GCSEs:\nFollowing your GCSE's you must have completed one of the following qualification routes, equivalent to a minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points:\nA levels: Three A levels totalling 120 UCAS Tariff points, including Maths and either a Technology or Engineering subject, with no individual grade below B \nBTEC: A single Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering at a minimum grade of DDM, including a distinction in a Further Maths module.\nThe learning provider is not able to support T level qualifications for this apprenticeship\nPlease note: We look at entry criteria based on your top three full A Levels or equivalent qualifications (BTEC/T Level). We do not include UCAS points gained from an Extended Project Qualification. Additionally, as an employer we set our own entry criteria based on the requirements of this role.
