The breadth of work within the Mission Planning Systems Team affords plenty of opportunities for you to showcase your existing skills and experience as well as providing plenty of opportunities for technical and personal growth.\nAs we develop products for delivery to end users you will have also be hands-on with actual mission planning equipment developed for weapons such as Storm Shadow, Spear and others currently in development and with this comes engagement with customers and end users as well as working with many other parts of MBDA\nYou will be conducting systems design activities for various mission planning products.\nYou will provide key inputs to requirements capture, design freezes, system integration and testing through to full product verification and certification.\nYou will work closely with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other parties to enable robust design and system validation.\nYou will be hands-on with real, operational equipment and have the opportunity to engage with Customers and End-Users\nWhat we're looking for from you:\nUnderstanding of System Engineering Process is essential with recent experience in a systems engineering role ideally across the full lifecycle.\nExperience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management essential.\nAbility to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning a number of teams and locations is essential.\nExperience of technical problem solving and a strong ability to think analytically.\nGeneral understanding of mission planning principles would be beneficial.\nEngineering degree or equivalent.\nOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given\nMBDA is a leading defence organisation.
