MBDA UK is the British arm of the European missile systems group MBDA, headquartered in Stevenage, England, designing, developing and manufacturing missiles and missile systems for all branches of the UK armed forces and allied nations. MBDA was formed in 2001 from the merger of European missile businesses and is owned by Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo; the UK company has primary sites in Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton, corporate offices in London and smaller sites such as Henlow. It recruits systems, software, test and manufacturing engineers, project managers, procurement and security staff, and runs graduate, apprenticeship and placement programmes.

An opportunity has arisen for a bid focussed Senior Project Manager on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Programme; one of the largest, most exciting and challenging programmes within Defence - to design and deliver a Future Combat Air Programme for the RAF in record time. The key cornerstone of FCAS is the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), which sees the UK working with our international partners Italy and Japan, to deliver a future combat air platform. FCAS and GCAP presents a unique opportunity to influence the design of the system to consider the integration and employment of effects rather than just integrate effectors to an existing platform.
