Responsible for co-ordinating the allocation, maintenance and operation of Special Activity Facilities required by Project and Product teams needing to deliver Special Projects; ensuring the facilities meet the business need, are used appropriately and all legislative, regulatory policy, process and procedures are being adhered to.\nYou will maintain the Special Activity Facilities workload forecast aligned with the Future Portfolio domestic and export business plans as an input to the Transversal Security Authority to support infrastructure investment decisions. Ensure the Facility Custodians and Users are kept informed on the conduct and management of Special Activity Facilities through the policing of local operating procedures, regular liaison and communication, whilst respecting specific security restrictions.\nYou will act as gatekeeper, co-ordinating preparing and maintaining the Special Activity Facilities and any access to Project and Product teams, contractors and stakeholders, briefing all on their responsibilities and supporting them in tailoring the generic procedures for these teams. Responsible for the administration and maintenance of security furniture and assets, ongoing certifications, mustering, emergency procedures and overall lifecycle in adherence to internal and external standards.\nYou will provide resilience across all sites to identify risks and maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of these facilities.\nWhat we're looking for from you:\nOrganised and adaptable to assisting with the ongoing running of workplace operations and facilities services for the business.\nCo-ordinating facilities administration, liaising and working with key stakeholders to achieve and maintain the high standards.\nResponding to facilities queries and resolving issues efficiently and discretely.\nStrong customer service and stakeholder management skills.\nDriven and innovative to look at efficiencies of process.\nAble to handle sensitive information within a secure environment, with a knowledge of access management.\nAn ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities and work independently.\nProactive, reactive and a willingness to problem solve.\nExcellent communication skills and professionalism, upholding MBDA’s reputation.\nConfident and able to use own initiative when under pressure.\nWork as part of a wider team in ensuring the highest standards for MBDA.\nExperience working with MOD, defence industry or a disciplined security focused environment is desirable, but not essential.\nOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given\nMBDA is a leading defence organisation.
