This role will focus on improving operational efficiency through process redesign, automation, data analytics, and technology-enabled solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional business process initiatives and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions. The Senior IT Business Process Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and organizational leadership to align process improvements with strategic objectives, integrate workflows across functional domains, and ensure solutions support operational, compliance, and performance requirements.\n Key Responsibilities:\nLead the analysis, design, documentation, and optimization of complex IT-supported business processes at the section, division, or enterprise level.\nEvaluate existing business processes, workflows, systems, and operational practices to identify inefficiencies, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\nLead business process reengineering and modernization initiatives involving multiple functional areas and stakeholder groups.\nDevelop and implement process improvements utilizing automation, workflow management, and data-driven solutions.\nLeverage ServiceNow capabilities to support workflow automation, process management, service delivery, and operational improvements.\nUtilize Microsoft Power Platform and data analytics tools, including tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, to automate processes, analyze operational data, and improve decision-making.\nGather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, and data analysis.\nTranslate complex business requirements into actionable process designs and technology recommendations.\nDevelop current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, business requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting documentation.\nFacilitate cross-functional working sessions to identify requirements, resolve process challenges, and establish standardized business practices.\nPartner with technical teams to ensure technology solutions effectively support business requirements and organizational objectives.\nDevelop performance measures, dashboards, and other analytical tools to evaluate process effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nSupport testing, implementation, change management, and adoption of new or redesigned processes and technology solutions.\nIdentify process and operational risks and recommend appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.\nEnsure business processes and technology-enabled solutions align with applicable organizational policies, federal requirements, standards, and compliance objectives.\nProvide strategic recommendations and briefings to program leadership and senior stakeholders regarding process performance, modernization opportunities, and technology solutions.\nMentor and provide guidance to junior business analysts and other team members as needed.\nRequired Experience Skills & Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in IT business process analysis, business process improvement, process reengineering, or a related discipline.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex, cross-departmental or cross-functional process improvement initiatives.\nExperience supporting Federal Government programs or agencies.\nExperience analyzing and optimizing IT-supported business processes within large or complex organizations.\nDemonstrated proficiency with ServiceNow, including its use for workflow, process automation, service management, or business process improvement.\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform and data analytics tools, such as Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps.\nExperience identifying opportunities for process automation and translating business needs into technology-enabled solutions.\nStrong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business and functional requirements.\nExperience developing process maps, workflows, requirements documentation, SOPs, and other business process documentation.\nAbility to analyze complex operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.\nDemonstrated ability to work across business and technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.\nBachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information policy, or related field. \nAbility to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance.\nPreferred Requirements:\nExperience with enterprise-level digital transformation, modernization, or automation initiatives.\nExperience integrating processes and workflows across multiple functional or technical domains.\nKnowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or Agile.\nExperience developing executive-level dashboards, metrics, reports, or presentations.\nRelevant certifications in ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, business analysis, project management, or process improvement are a
