This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with 2+ years of experience in project scheduling who is eager to expand their technical expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, schedule analysis, and project controls across a variety of construction projects.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAs a Junior Scheduler, you will work closely with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to support the scheduling and project controls functions on a variety of construction projects. You will communicate schedule findings and technical information to diverse audiences, participate in project meetings, and contribute to sound decision-making through clear analysis and reporting.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities include:\nPerform technical reviews of contractor-submitted baseline schedules and periodic schedule updates to verify compliance with contract requirements, scheduling specifications, and overall reasonableness\nAssist with the development and maintenance of CPM baseline schedules and periodic schedule updates for construction projects\nReview schedule logic, activity durations, sequencing, constraints, critical and near-critical paths, float, progress, and milestone performance\nAnalyze drawings, specifications, contracts, and statements of work to understand project scope, sequencing requirements, and contractual milestones\nEvaluate actual construction progress and field conditions relative to the approved schedule and planned sequence of work\nIdentify and communicate schedule variances, emerging risks, and potential impacts to project milestones and completion\nAssist with the evaluation of changes and their potential impacts on the project schedule\nAssist with the development and/or review of time-extension requests and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs)\nSupport post-construction schedule and delay analyses\nPrepare clear schedule review comments, reports, graphics, and other project controls deliverables\nParticipate in project meetings and site visits as needed\nOccasional overnight travel may be required\nExperience:\n2+ years of construction scheduling, project controls, or related construction experience preferred\nSupporting transportation projects, including roadway, bridge, rail, or other major infrastructure projects, is strongly preferred\nDeveloping and/or reviewing schedules for construction projects\nUsing Oracle Primavera P6\nMicrosoft Project is preferred\nQualifications\nEducation/Knowledge:\nUndergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred\nSkills and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles and techniques\nUnderstanding of construction sequencing and the reasonableness of a proposed plan\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nReviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements\nIdentifying schedule issues and clearly communicating their potential project impacts\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical scheduling concepts to non-technical audiences\nManaging multiple assignments and priorities while meeting project deadlines\nDeveloping and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, contractors, project managers, and team members\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nInterest in continued professional development in construction scheduling, project controls, risk, and delay analysis\nGuidance/Responsibility:\nSupport the Project Controls team by contributing scheduling analysis, reviews, and deliverables under the guidance of senior schedulers and project managers\nWhat We Offer:\nWe're focused on providing the tools and support you need to succeed, both personally and professionally.
