This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build a strong foundation in construction management, project controls, and on-site client representation across a variety of project sectors.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You'll Do:\nAs an entry-level Engineer, you will support project teams by serving as an on-site representative of the client, contributing to project documentation, and applying engineering principles to real-world construction challenges. You will work closely with experienced professionals who will guide your development as you gain exposure to diverse project types and service areas.\nResponsibilities include:\nPrepare project documentation, cost estimates, schedules, and plan reviews\nResearch and organize project records to support ongoing assignments\nReview project records, schedules, and as-built construction to evaluate change orders and requests for extension of time\nIndependently apply engineering techniques and analyze problems and methods\nCoordinate the quality and timeliness of deliverables\nParticipate in company training programs, company activities, and administrative duties\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nExperience:\nSome construction work experience preferred\nExperience may be in the following sectors: federal, state, municipal, K-12 school, water/wastewater, higher education, laboratory facilities, transportation, ports, or marina projects\nEducation/Knowledge:\nBachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture, or related field\nFE/EIT preferred\nEngineering principles of construction management and project controls\nOne or more of the following services: critical path method scheduling, cost estimating, project budgeting, delay analysis, constructibility and design review, inspections, quantity take-offs\nSkills and Abilities:\nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, CADD, and graphics applications\nStrong writing capabilities\nRead and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports\nMaintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work\nCommunicate effectively with others and maintain favorable public relations\nWork independently on assigned tasks\nStand and sit as needed on project work sites, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions\nSafely navigate construction work sites with uneven terrain\nPreferred Certifications:\nOSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification required, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire\nIndustry certifications specific to duties assigned, or ability to obtain and maintain\nGuidance/Responsibility:\nWork is closely supervised with regular oversight and direction from senior team members\nSupervisory:\nMay supervise assistants in technical and administrative roles\nWhat We Offer:\nWe're focused on providing the tools and support you need to succeed, both personally and professionally.
