As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Senior Electronics Engineer - to join our group.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and schematic capture of circuits for optical control, electromechanical control, optical readout and optical signal chain processing\nPrinted Circuit Board (PCB) layout of above designed circuits, including high speed RF layout\nComponent selection suitable for aerospace deployment\nDesign of circuits to AS/EN9100 and relevant JEDEC standards, with specific reference to aerospace standards\nCreation and specification of power budgets for (sub)systems\nDevelopment of (sub)systems from prototype to aerospace-qualified products\nWork closely with interdisciplinary mechanical and optical teams to design in mechanically and thermally constrained environments with strict optical requirements\nDesign and modelling of analogue (optical) readout & signal processing circuits such as TIAs, DACs, etc.\nSimulation of PCBs for high speed electro-optical transceivers\nDevelopment of noise models and link budgets\nTest of designed circuits to validate performance\nDocumentation and review of design, test & validation of (sub)system designs\nDesign of test platforms for circuit testing\nWho you are\nBachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related field. \n5+ years of industry experience\nExperience with relevant PCB design software: Altium, EAGLE, KiCAD, PADs etc. \nKnowledge of signal integrity, impedance matching and termination\nExperience with analogue circuit design and SPICE simulation\nExperience implementing communications protocols e.g. CAN, SPI, UART, I2C. \nExperience with typical electronic laboratory test equipment\nDesirable\nDesign experience within aerospace, defence, automotive industry or related areas and familiarity with aerospace electronic design standards e.g. AS/EN 9100, relevant JEDEC standards etc. \nExperience with aerospace & radiation hard component selection, including component derating etc.\nExperience with PCB layout with high-speed/RF PCB layout \nExperience developing electrical power models and budgets, thermal modelling\nExperience developing noise models and link budgets\nExperience in firmware development and FPGA HDL (Verilog) development\nExperience with high speed PCB simulation tools like ADS or ANSYS HFSS\nMechanical CAD experience (e.g. Fusion360)\nWhat's in it for you\nCareer Growth: Contribute to a world-class space-age communication program while developing your leadership skills in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment\nCollaboration: Work with talented professionals across disciplines to drive impactful solutions\nInnovation: Be part of a team pioneering advancements in manufacturing engineering for cutting-edge FSO systems\nWork-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible work schedules and a comprehensive benefits package\nIf you're ready to take your career to new heights and drive the future of space-age communication, apply now and join the MBRYONICS team as our Senior Electronics Engineer.\nDiversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities\nCore ethical values, diversity and inclusion are invaluable to MBRYONICS’ business success.
