Senior-level consultants are expected to own defined workstreams with limited oversight and guide junior resources where appropriate.\nCore responsibilities\nParticipate in discovery and design sessions to capture business requirements, current-state process issues, future-state process needs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration decisions.\n\nConfigure D365 CE and Power Platform features including model-driven apps, tables, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, queues, routing, security roles, and basic automation.\n\nSupport Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, and related CE/CX capabilities depending on project scope and specialization.\n\nPrepare functional design documents, process flows, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training materials, and user adoption content.\n\nMaintain requirements traceability from discovery notes to user stories, functional design decisions, configuration workbooks, test scripts, UAT outcomes, and training/adoption materials.\n\nSupport backlog refinement, sprint demos, CRP/UAT planning, test execution, defect triage, release readiness, go-live support, and hypercare activities.\n\nPartner with technical consultants on integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and custom extension requirements.\n\nHelp clients evaluate standard functionality versus customization and escalate scope, adoption, data, and process risks early.\n\nMaintain awareness of Microsoft Copilot, embedded intelligence, Power BI, and automation capabilities that can improve user productivity and customer experience.\n\nRequired skills and experience\n3+ years’ experience implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, or comparable CRM platforms.\n\nWorking knowledge of Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Automate, dashboards, basic reporting, Microsoft 365 integration, and user security concepts.\n\nAbility to produce clear documentation, manage assigned work, communicate status, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.\n\nUnderstanding of agile delivery, user stories, acceptance criteria, test management, training, and change/adoption fundamentals.\n\nRecommended certifications: PL-200; MB-280, MB-230, MB-240, or relevant CE module certifications preferred.\n\nAbout the CE Practice at MCA\nThe CE Practice at MCA sits at the forefront of the firm’s innovation and growth strategy.
