plans.\nManaging dietary restrictions while maintaining a budget.\nNavigating transportation options with accessibility and safety in mind.\nUnderstanding mobility aids, evaluations, and transportation alternatives.\nCoordinating care teams and managing appointments using hybrid calendars and digital tools.\nHealthy Living, Wellness & Personal Resilience\nTeach participants how to build healthier lifestyles and maintain physical, mental, and emotional well-being by covering topics such as:\nRecognizing signs of cognitive and physical decline.\nMeal planning and healthy nutrition.\nExercise and movement for lifelong wellness.\nRestorative sleep habits.\nBuilding emotional resilience and support networks.\nIdentifying when home and personal safety modifications are needed.\nStaying socially connected through relationships and routines.\nFinancial, Legal & Benefits Planning\nGuide learners through essential financial and legal planning with practical, easy-to-understand instruction, including:\nOrganizing important legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.\nPreventing fraud, scams, and identity theft.\nManaging personal finances, bill payments, and tax preparation.\nExploring long-term care financing and planning options.\nUnderstanding Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid benefits.\nNavigating public benefit systems with confidence.\nRequired Qualifications\nProfessional experience or subject-matter expertise in their teaching area.\nPrevious teaching, training, facilitation, or public speaking experience preferred.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nA passion for lifelong learning and community education.\nThe ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.\nExperience working with adult learners, caregivers, older adults, or community organizations is highly
