Instructors will suggest course topics and/or be assigned classes on basic nonprofit administration, grant writing, planning, and team management. This position will have various teaching opportunities throughout the year and will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and practical course content that enhances students’ personal growth and enriches their lives.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:\nDevelop and implement engaging Nonprofit Administration curriculum and lesson plans tailored to students’ varying proficiency levels.\n\nConduct interactive classroom sessions in the following areas of Nonprofit Administration: grant writing, planning and team management.\n\nAssess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.\n\nOrganize and facilitate in-class related activities.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nProficiency in nonprofit administration and trends therein.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.\n\nA degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Social Work, Leadership, Business, or a related field is preferred\n\nExperience working in a leadership or grant writing role at a nonprofit organization is preferred.\n\nThis position will have random teaching opportunities throughout the year.\nMCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area including Fremont and Blair.\nMost classes are held weeknights and weekends.\nThe specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
