This position works closely with internal and external partners to ensure program outcomes are met; manages project timelines, partner engagement, and ensures coordinated implementation of grant funded objectives across curriculum, workforce partnerships, and student experiences.The successful candidate will have experience with project coordination and support, knowledge of manufacturing environments, and excellent communication and organizational skills.\nThis is a grant-funded position effective until December 2028 with the possibility of extension based on continued funding.\nThis announcement is live through October14, 2026 at 11:59pm, and will no longer be posted October 15, 2026.\nESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:\nSupports the design, implementation and operational oversight of the NeMac program, including project timelines, milestones, deliverables, communication workflows, and partner coordination.\nCoordinates communication and collaboration among internal departments, instructors, employer partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders involved in project delivery.\nSupports development and maintenance of project workplans, process documentation, schedules, and internal reporting tools.\nTracks participant, credential, and employment-related data in coordination with appropriate college staff and systems.\nPrepares or supports preparation of reports, updates, presentations, and documentation required for college leadership, partners, and funding entities.\nLeads participant onboarding, orientation, and ongoing communication throughout the program to ensure students understand program expectations, available supports, and next steps.\nWorks collaboratively with instructional and student support staff to strengthen participant persistence, completion, and transition into employment or continued education.\nCoordinates program budget, contract coordination, purchasing, resource planning, and project reporting.\nServes as the primary liaison for program participants, providing support, guidance, troubleshooting, and referrals to appropriate college resources as needed.\nEnsures compliance with project agreements, data-sharing expectations, privacy requirements, and institutional procedures, while maintaining accurate project documentation.\nFacilitates periodic meetings with internal and external partners providing program updates on participant engagement, deliverables, risks, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.\nRepresents the program in a variety of activities that advance the goals of the program.\nMaintains accurate project documentation.\nAttends work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nMonday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.\nThis is an on-premise position located at the Fort Omaha Campus, with travel to other campuses and facilities as required.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nStrong knowledge of project management approaches and methodologies.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build trust with program participants.\nProficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and other college supported systems.\nExcellent communication skills including active listening.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work well with minimal supervision in a team-orientated environment.\nProven ability to manage new project/program and prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.\nAbility to demonstrate cooperation and professionalism while maintaining patience and understanding in stressful situations.\nCommitment to advancing equity, social justice, and economic inclusion.\nAbility to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, nonprofit management, project management, or related field.\nTwo (2) years of demonstrated experience in program implementation, project management or business development.\nExperience supervising staff or volunteers.\nAn equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.\nPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:\nPMP certification a plus.\nSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities.\nMust pass a background check.\nThe specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
