Complete required production records and input data into SAP.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSet up and start automatic blending equipment. \nContinuously and repeatedly load packaging and raw materials. \nPack off finished product, perform checks on critical timing of equipment, prepare equipment half an hour to one hour prior to shift start.\nMake product change-over, package size changes, minor repairs on all equipment, \nUnderstand scheduling and can adequately perform in the absence of the crew leader \nBe responsible for quality and quantity of production daily. \nDocument and record downtime and machine adjustments \nUnderstand and practice loss control of raw and packaging materials \nAssist in preventative maintenance duties with the assistance of the maintenance team. \nFollow detailed procedures and complete paperwork accurately to ensure safe, consistent, and quality products. \nWork with teams to identify process issues and improvement opportunities by actively participating in continuous improvement activities. \nActively promote safety and identify unsafe actions and conditions using a principle-based safety approach. \nComplete monthly safety and quality inspections on assigned weeks. \nReplenish production line(s) by operating a forklift in a safe manner. \nMathematically calculate batch and material usage. \nBe responsible for following plant attendance policy.\nPerform other duties as required.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMust have a basic understanding of computer systems in the form of data entry.\nMust be organized and possess strong problem-solving skills. \nMust be able to perform numerical calculations. \nProficient in reading and writing. \nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. \nMust possess excellent communication skills. \nAble to work independently or in team environment \nMust be able to work overtime daily, including weekends\nPAPR/ Respirator use required\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge of SAP, Infinity, Power Point, Access preferred. \n1+ years of manufacturing experience \nHigh School diploma or equivalency\nAs a general policy, McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future.\nBase Salary: $35,500 - $57,500 annually\nBase salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.\nIn addition to a competitive compensation package, permanent employees of McCormick are eligible for our extensive Total Rewards programs that include:\nComprehensive health plans covering medical, vision, dental, life and disability benefits \nFamily-friendly benefits such as paid parental leave, fertility benefits, Employee Assistance Program, and caregiver support \nRetirement and investment programs including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans\nMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
