Will work with the Crew Leader to execute daily plans, update and report daily metrics, and complete department indicators (scorecard). Will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports (labor hours, downtime reporting), process order review, procedural updates and special projects as required. Will provide support for process improvement, safety, sanitation, and training initiatives. Acts as a liaison between department(s). Acts as a back up to the Crew Leader and Distribution Technicians.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\n\nMinimum of 2 years’ warehouse/order selection experience required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to use calculator, on-line systems including PC databases, Outlook, Excel and word processing required.\n\nMust have fork lift license & experience operating all types of material handling equipment, including reach, stand up, sit down, walking transporter & riding transporter.\n\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\n\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, ever changing environment.\n\nHigh level of numerical computation skills and analytical skills required.\n\nMust have excellent clerical and math skills with attention to detail.\n\nAbility to concentrate in high traffic area and ability to maintain confidential information required.\n\nOvertime on short notice required.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge of SAP/ERP Warehouse Management System preferred.\n\nIndustrial order selection experience desired.\n\nShipping/Shipping Office experience desired.\n\nOvertime on short notice required.\n\nCurrent McCormick employees who meet these qualifications and are interested in pursuing this position must notify their direct supervisor and their unit HR representative prior to applying.\nFirst consideration will be given to employees who have been displaced from their jobs for positions with the same grade or lower.
