This role ensures seamless, secure, and scalable data exchanges between internal systems and external partners. The position focuses on implementing best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, and driving continuous improvement of enterprise integration platforms to meet evolving business and compliance needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and implement scalable EDI mappings and MFT solutions using Seeburger BIS and BIS Link, ensuring alignment with business and integration architecture standards.\nConfigure partner profiles, trading relationships, and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTP, etc.), enabling secure and reliable B2B connectivity with trading partners.\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain EDI mappings and transformations using Seeburger BICMD Mapping Designer, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.\nProactively monitor EDI/MFT processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance of integration flows; provide L2/L3 support for incidents and error resolution.\nLead and execute Seeburger implementation projects end-to-end, from requirement gathering through deployment, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, and quality expectations.\nWork closely with internal teams, business users, and external partners to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful integration outcomes.\nEnsure adherence to industry standards, data security, and compliance requirements; manage and perform production deployments of mappings and workflows as needed.\nSecondary Responsibilities\nDrive continuous improvement and optimization of EDI/MFT processes and performance\nDocument integration designs, mappings, and operational procedures\nDocument integration designs, mappings, and operational procedures\nSupport audit and compliance activities related to data exchange processes\nParticipate in on-call support and incident management if required\nRequired Qualifications:\nLevel of Education and Discipline\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nCertifications and/or Licenses\nCertification in Seeburger BIS or related Seeburger technologies\nExperience\n8-10+ years of experience in EDI, B2B integration, and Managed File Transfer domains\n 6+ years of hands-on experience with Seeburger BIS platform\nStrong, hands-on experience with:Seeburger Business Integration Suite (BIS 7 and above)\nSeeburger BICMD Mapping Designer\nBIS Manager and BIS Link\nEDI and MFT implementations\n\nProven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale B2B integration landscapes, including partner onboarding and multi-protocol communication\nStrong understanding of EDI standards and formats: EDIFACT, ANSI X12, EANCOM, Tradacoms, UCS, VIC.S\nExpertise in communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTP/S\nProficiency in data mapping, transformation, routing, and error handling\nExperience integrating Seeburger with SAP (IDoc, RFC, Proxy, APIs) and understanding of SAP ABAP concepts\nSolid understanding of integration patterns, message lifecycle, and security frameworks (encryption, signing, certificates)\nStrong functional and business knowledge to translate requirements into effective integration solutions\nInterpersonal Skills\nAbility to collaborate effectively with business teams, architects, and external trading partners\nStrong communication skills to articulate integration designs, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nExperience mentoring junior team members and sharing Seeburger best practices\nAbility to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications and field-level mappings\nStrong stakeholder management and coordination skills across multiple partners and systems\nAbility to work independently and manage complex integration initiatives end-to-end\nDetail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities\nOther Skills & Competencies\nThe role demonstrates High Performance Organization (HPO) competencies, including:\nValues All People: Promotes collaboration, inclusivity, and knowledge sharing across teams and partners\nStrategic Thinking: Aligns integration solutions with enterprise architecture and long-term B2B strategy\nInfluence: Advocates for best practices, standards, and governance in EDI/MFT implementations\nPersonal & Team Leadership: Takes accountability for deliverables and contributes to overall team success\nAttracting & Developing Talent: Supports onboarding, mentoring, and skill development initiatives\nInnovation: Continuously improves integration processes using modern tools, automation, and optimization techniques\n Business Savvy & Acumen: Understands business processes, trading partner requirements, and operational impact of integrations\nThe role requires strong expertise in Seeburger EDI/MFT platforms, deep understanding of B2B integration standards, and the ability to operate within large-scale enterprise environments.
