Are you up for the challenge?\nPay Range: $20 - $22\nPLEASE NOTE : Candidates who require visa sponsorship for employment now or in the future will not be considered for this position.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Analytical Science Intern will support analytical development and testing activities through hands-on sample preparation, data acquisition, analysis, and technical reporting. The intern will work closely with internal analytical teams and cross-functional scientists and technologists to contribute to ongoing and projects, while developing practical laboratory and problem-solving skills.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist with analytical development and testing, including sample preparation, data acquisition & analysis and written reporting. \nConduct an independent research project in an area of agreed upon mutual interest - proposal, execution and written and oral presentation at conclusion of internship. \nWork directly with internal analytical teams providing hands-on assistance and project guidance. \nCollaborate with other analytical scientists and technologists to deliver ad hoc project results in a timely manner. \nAbility to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, show strong self-motivation and initiative \nPresent final report on work completed during the intern period. \nAssist in gathering relevant data from various sources. \nManage his/her tasks and assignments efficiently to meet deadlines.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEnrollment as an undergraduate college Sophomore, Junior, Senior or graduate student in a relevant program for the 2026-2027 academic year\nEnrollment as an Analytical Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, Organic Chemistry, or Natural Product Chemistry major for the 2026- 2027 academic year \nGrade point average overall minimum of 3.0/4.0 and 3.25 within major\nWorking in chemistry lab \nCommunication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured and organized manner. \nExcellent oral and written communication skills \nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint \nMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
