This will include diagnosing, repairing both mechanical and electrical service calls including (motor starters, photo eyes, proxes, encoders, limit switches etc.). This role will also serve as an advanced troubleshooting resource helping the operations team with setup and equipment related issues.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nAssist operators and other mechanics with basic duties and change-overs. Able to complete Winpak conversions\nSupport, troubleshoot, and repair general production equipment\nAble to perform Waste Water checks and recover Waste Water system from out of tolerance events\nAble to complete assigned PM's and minor work orders; able to write and close out work orders\nAble to read and understand blueprints and other technical documents to locate part numbers, diagnose equipment failures, and repair equipment\nAssist with training employees to identify basic mechanical issues and repair as necessary\nAble to operate CMMS system to locate, check out parts, and complete PM's\nAble to lubricate equipment as needed\nCompletes Maintenance 5 Standards and Maintenance Log\nAble to replace mechanical components of drive system motors, drives, sprockets, chains, belts, pulleys, bearings, and other various devices\nBasic understanding of HVAC troubleshooting and repair\nAble to replace air, product, hydraulic, and boiler piping system components\nAble to complete Root Cause Failure Analysis on failed components / parts\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.\nMust be very detail oriented and have strong interpersonal, communication and team-based skills.\nBeing a self-starter as well as a problem-solver are required assets.\nThree to Five years of plant maintenance experience\nTroubleshoot PLC/Solid State control instruments\nProficient in the use of applications of test equipment such as multimeters\nWorking knowledge of Windows\nWorking knowledge and field experience with process/programmable controllers and AC/DC drives.\nIndustrial control wiring experience\nPossess the ability to read and interpret instrument drawings and control schematics\nPossess knowledge of NEC requirements\nMust be able to work in cross functional teams\nAbility to work overtime daily and on weekends; flexibility with shift hours\nExcellent on-site attendance\nFlexibility with shift and workday assignments to support business needs\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge of SAP or similar CMMS\nAA degree in Industrial Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology or completion of an approved apprenticeship in industrial electrical maintenance or 5-7 years direct applicable experience.\nAs a general policy, McCormick does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future.\nMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
