The role requires a strong engineering background combined with expertise in engineering data management, digital workflows and cross-functional coordination.\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nEngineering Data Governance\nAnalyse and develop project-specific data management requirements and workflows, including:Project Class Libraries\nTagging Procedures and Standards\nAdvanced Work Packaging (AWP) philosophy and hierarchy\nEngineering database delivery requirements and frequencies\nClient-specific data management specifications\n\nEstablish and maintain engineering data governance processes to ensure consistency, integrity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle\nData Quality Management\nEnsure the quality, accuracy and completeness of engineering data across all project systems and disciplinesValidate: Correctness of tags\nCompleteness of mandatory properties and attributes\nConsistency and alignment of identifiers across 2D, 3D and other engineering data sources\nMonitor and resolve data discrepancies, conflicts and inconsistencies\n\nEvaluate and implement data validation rules and controls within key engineering tools to minimize manual errors and prevent non-compliant tagging practices\nData Deliverables Management\nCoordinate the preparation and maintenance of engineering data deliverables, including:Vendor data templates\nAsset Registers\nLife Cycle Information (LCI) deliverables\nEngineering master data registers\nClient-specific data packages\n\nManage the delivery of engineering databases and related documentation to the Client in accordance with approved Data Handover Plans and project requirements\nIssue Resolution and Stakeholder Management\nIdentify, track, and expedite the resolution of data-related issues, including:Data quality concerns\nProcess gaps\nClassification and tagging conflicts\nCross-discipline data integration issues\n\nProvide regular status updates and reporting to project management and Client representatives\nAct as the primary focal point for engineering data-related discussions and coordination activities\nCollaboration with IT and Digital Team\nWork closely with project IT and engineering systems teams to implement required data management solutions, enhancements and corrective action.\nSupport continuous improvement of engineering data processes, spending within the allocated budgets\nPrepare, review, and issue IM Documents\nDetect and manage project scope changes\nCoordinate the project-specific infrastructure setup for construction sites, client resident teams, and joint venture partners in cooperation with Project IT\nSpecify and coordinate the processes and tools for data collection, validation consolidation, and handover to the Client\nSingle point of contact to project management and the Client for Information Management\nTranslate project-specific information requirements into efficient system configurations and related user instructions\nPrepare functional specifications and manage the development and implementation of project-specific applications and/or interfaces\nCapture lessons learned, and best practices and ensure their embedding in the organization\nInitiate and conduct Information Management (IM) audits and peer reviews\nTrain and coach personnel for and on assignments\nProvide input to audits and peer reviews and undertake other project audits as required\n Essential Qualifications and Education:\nDegree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nExperience working with major engineering design and information/data management systems\nStrong understanding of engineering data management, tagging methodologies, AWP principles and project information requirements\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering data and client data handover activities\nExcellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving
