The Hook Up Engineer understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nRead, understand and implement the Company’s Health Safety Environmental and Quality Policy and the arrangements described in the Company Management System\nParticipate in and provide field guidance for pre-engineering and pre-construction surveys\nReview drawings for constructability and identify any specific issues and coordinates resolution\nReview & formulize discipline scope of work, schedules and specifications Understands the deliverable requirements\nReview the material requisitions in compliance with project specifications prior to order\nDevelop and issue final Hook-up construction work packs\nMonitor scope changes and inputs to DTCMS/CAT\nEnsure all engineering deliverables (drawings, materials, and procedures) are available for hook up execution\nPrepare hook up task sheets and reviews task sheets as appropriate\nEnsure efficient sequencing of HU activities & reviews hook up schedules synchronizing with other disciplines\nEnable resource forecast & manpower loadings\nManage the timely delivery of documentation, fabrication, materials, personnel and vendors aligned to Hook-up schedule\nProvide field guidance and ensures compliance with Company specification\nCoordinate materials with load-out plans at yards & ship to offshore locations in optimum vessel sorties \nTravel to different region facilities onshore/ offshore to assist project team and coordinate execution aligned to project schedule\nMonitor and report implementation related changes and growth during the course of the project specifically related to hook up\nParticipate with HAZID discussion and asset incidents / hazards investigations and communicate findings to PMT and Senior HU Engineer \nPrepare comprehensive technical reports, checklists, and documentation to capture all relevant activities, observations, and outcomes throughout the hook-up process\nProvide regular progress updates to project stakeholders, highlighting any significant milestones, challenges, or deviations from project plans\nExecute hook-up activities on assigned projects, following project schedules, procedures, and safety guidelines\nProvide technical support and guidance to project teams during the planning and execution phases\nEnsure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, regulations, and contractual requirements\nParticipate in project review meetings to provide insights and feedback for process improvement\nOversee and manage all hook-up activities by project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations\nCollaborate with project stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of all hook-up activities\nCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of hook-up activities \n Essential Qualifications and Education:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field)\n6 years of experience in offshore hook-up activities within the EPCI industry\nProficient knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, IEC, NEC)\nStrong technical and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues\nExhibit leadership skills within own discipline & assist trainee engineers/freshers\nExcellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders\nProactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team\nCertified in relevant safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE) is preferred \nSuccessful degree holding candidates will be required to provide a degree equivalency certificate issues by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR).
