The Principal Hook Up Engineer may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in Hook Up\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nEnsure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations during the hook-up & commissioning phase, following company policies and procedures\nResponsible for conducting constructability reviews and maintain constructability log\nImplement previous recorded lessons learned on the project and maintain all Lessons Learned of the Project\nResponsible for Jack Up Barge/ Hook Up mobilization readiness \nSupport and disseminate Engineering policies and Yard procedures, participate for any improvements\nSupport Division Engineering for providing input to the bid and historical data from the projects\nAttending/provide training and provide feedback/improvement as required\nHigh standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts\nEnsure the resource forecast & manpower loadings during scheduling and execution phase\nReview project-specific training requirement and ensure compliance\nArrange the Constructability meetings with Engineering team & Fabrication team\nGenerate and review technical documentation, including procedures, manuals, and reports, to capture lessons learned and best practices for future projects\nMonitor and control project-related costs, schedule, and quality metrics during the hook-up & commissioning phase, implementing corrective actions as necessary\nFoster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, vendors, and third-party agencies\nCoordinate and supervise the hook-up & commissioning team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to enhance their performance and professional growth\nConduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project constraints, proposing innovative solutions and mitigation strategies\nLead and oversee the hook-up & commissioning activities for major projects within the EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) industry, ensuring their successful execution\nDevelop and implement comprehensive hook-up & commissioning plans, defining key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements\nCollaborate closely with project management and Fabrication teams to ensure seamless integration of hook-up & commissioning activities into the overall project timeline\nStay updated with advancements in hook-up & commissioning technologies, methodologies, and industry trends, integrating them into project execution strategies\nPreparing project Close-out report \n Essential Qualifications and Education:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering)\nProven experience of at least 12+ years in hook-up & commissioning activities within the EPCI industry, including significant exposure to offshore and onshore projects\nStrong knowledge of industry standards, such as API, ISO, and ASME, and demonstrated ability to oversee compliance with relevant codes and regulations\nExpertise in project management methodologies and software tools, ensuring efficient planning, scheduling, and resource optimization\nExcellent leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams and driving high-performance outcomes\nExceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve complex technical issues during hook-up & commissioning operations\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences\nDetail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables, while adhering to project constraints and deadlines\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills, enabling the management of multiple concurrent projects and tasks\nFlexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, while maintaining a proactive and results-driven
