Payroll activities\nReconcile payroll taxes\nBack up to payroll supervisor\nPrepare special payroll reports as needed\nEnsure all SOX documents are completed for each on-cycle and off-cycle payroll\nAssist in the maintenance of documentation for all pay groups (desk procedures, job aids, checklists)\nPerform testing of new system functionalities/processes or assist with testing as needed using the ALM system\nCommunicate with different teams to ensure all processes are accurate, complete\nResearch and resolve issues regarding posting, funding, and taxes\nRecommend process improvements to payroll-related items\nEnsure all payroll processing documents are stored in proper files\nMaintain payroll files regularly (electronically)\nAttend regular meetings \nCross-train on other processes \nProcess any pay group including off-cycle payrolls, as needed\nProcess new hires/rehires for any pay group\nContribute to process improvement opportunities\n Essential Qualifications and Education:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting\nMinimum 5 years of work experience in payroll\nAble to perform gross to net calculations, able to reconcile taxes, able to resolve GL and Treasury issues\nExcellent communication skills\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to meet multiple deadlines\nAbility to work as an individual contributor as well as a team player\nAbility to adhere to strict deadlines\nMaintain critical competencies associated with the payroll processing function\nCommunication and presentation skills, both written and spoken\nComputer literate in Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
