As such, they must have in-depth expertise in project engineering as well as broad knowledge of the project engineering discipline within the engineering function.\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nManaging the assigned portion of engineering scope of McDermott project\nAble to facilitate effective communication amongst disciplines and different operating centres\nEstablishes and implements project procedures to ensure deliverables meet quality and technical content requirements in accordance with contract documents\nManage the technical execution to support the business considerations established for the project \nResponsible for a specific function. i.e Interface between Operating Centres and different disciplines, Change Order follow up etc..\nRequires depth and/or breath of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.\nSolves complex problems; takes a broadperspective to identify innovative solutions. \nWorks independently or with guidance in complex situations.\nSupport others to solve complex problems, use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions\nExplain difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view\nPractice and promote Safety in designs and work processes\nHelp prepare and understand the requirements of Engineering in the contract documents\nCoordinate with the Engineering and Design Leads on the assigned project\nDiscuss project requirements to the team\nProvide guidance to less experienced Project Engineers\nEnsure effective communications among engineering disciplines\nDocument discussions and decisions related to the design\nPrepare, review, and approve meeting minutes\nSupport in preparing the weekly and monthly reports for management\nManage change effectively and proactively\nDevelop and maintain Project Engineering documents\nReview work with client, management and project leads\nCoordinate third party interfaces\nIdentify problems and coordinate with the engineering team to correct them\nSupport handover and archiving of the completed project \nFacilitate Review of Lessons Learned submitted\nReview and provide input to Company work processes and procedures as requested\nReport to: Project: Project Engineering Manager, Project Manager.\nFunctional: Manager of Project Engineering/Eng. Director\nLiaise with: Project Engineer, PEM, PM, Discipline Lead Engineers, Eng.
