They impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the Commissioning team and other related teams and ensure that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nReport to the Commissioning Manager and provide support to the Principal Commissioning Engineer in the preparation of home office deliverables\nAt the site, the Senior Commissioning Engineer will participate in walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing including troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical & instrument component issues that can arise on the project\nWork collaboration within the Project team and with the Client to maintain positive relationships\nRequired to support the commissioning team with performing any of the following activities as a minimum Operate and maintain Manuals development\nCommissioning and Start-up Spares development\nFirst Fills and Consumables development\nCommissioning, and Start-Up Procedures\nDiscipline Equipment system checks and tests \nFunction testing of mechanical, electrical, and instrument systems\nParticipate in Commissioning, Start-Up and Performance Testing\nResolve operational and maintenance issues during Commissioning, Start-Up, and Performance Tests\n\nSupervise craft personnel required for site pre-commissioning and commissioning activities\nCoordinate activities with other engineers in the commissioning team\nReports to:\nProject: Project Commissioning Manager\nFunctional: Function Commissioning Manager\nLiaise with: Commissioning Manager, Discipline Lead Engineers, Project Engineers, Construction/Fabrication team\nSupervises: Commissioning Engineers, Completions Specialists, Operation & Maintenance specialists, Designers, and support\npersonnel within the function group\n Essential Qualifications and Education:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering\n8-15 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant\nRequires a good understanding of concepts, principles, and practices in commissioning, completions, and training as well as basic knowledge of other functions, such as construction and operations & maintenance\nApplies understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness\nPreferably possess a degree or diploma or equivalent in engineering\nHave a minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility\nPrefer 2+ years of previous commissioning and start-up experience in the chemical, refinery, or oil & gas industry\nAble to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers\nMust have good computer software skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio \nMust have good organizational skills and be adaptable to the needs of various discipline groups\nMust have the ability to assess and communicate project requirements and expectations in a clearly defined, positive, and productive manner\nWilling and able to travel to construction sites on assignments to international sites\nProficiency in English, Multi-Language skills a plus\nSuccessful degree holding candidates will be required to provide a degree equivalency certificate issues by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR).
