team of Procurement professionals.\nPlan, organize, and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for projects in accordance with company and client requirements.\nEnsure compliance with established company policies and procedures.\nInterface between the Procurement function and other MDR Departments for all matters related to the procurement of materials for projects.\nWork closely with PPMs.\nOversee all procurement activities associated with the effective procurement of project materials, equipment, and services scopes in accordance with Project or end-user schedules, specifications, and budgets.\nImplement the Project Procurement Execution Strategy applicable to each project.\nManage the Project Procurement Group to undertake RFQs, commercial evaluations, and PO award.\nResolve all commercial and Terms & Conditions criteria and issues related to RFQs and POs.\nMonitor all project procurement-related activities and performance, providing direction and support needed to team members, to ensure the successful delivery of project requirements.\nLiaise with vendors, coordinate and assume lead participation in vendor commercial clarification meetings and / or conference calls, and act as the company focal point on commercial discussions with vendors during the preorder stage, i.e., from RFQ and / or PO in pre-award stage.\nLiaise with Legal to resolve vendor T&Cs and Accounts Payable to resolve vendor payment issues\nSupport post-order activities as deemed necessary.\nMonitor and review market conditions and report price & delivery trends for Project materials and equipment.\nEnsure conformance with the Company Policies and Procurement Procedures by the Project Procurement Group and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement work methodologies and processes.\nSupervise, train, and coordinate the activities of buyers and supporting staff and provide continuous support to staff in their undertaking of all tasks and activities.\nUndertake regular staff performance reviews.\nReview and approve all commercial bid evaluations, purchase orders, and PO revisions in accordance with the Delegated Authority Matrix.\nProvide Procurement reports as necessary and undertake tasks, activities, and assignments at the direction of the Director- Supply Chain.\nOwn and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures.\nEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures.\nEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams.\nEssential Qualifications and Education:\nEngineering graduate.\n15+ years of relevant experience.\nSupply chain functional, O&G business, Industry, and leadership expertise / background.\nStrong organizational and business analysis skills across multiple functions.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively lead and deliver specific project deliverables.\nExperience in identifying areas of opportunity, researching creative solutions, and implementing new processes.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.\nStrong experience leading cross-functional team engagement and ability to drive process / system changes.\nCore business process expertise across multiple functions.\nExperience developing project execution
