The Senior Manager Project Engineering manages multiple related teams, sets their organizational priorities, and allocates the appropriate resources. The role directly impacts business results by supporting and function-specific projects, products, services, and/or technologies, and developing policies and plans.\n\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nManage the engineering scope of a project\nEstablish and implement project procedures to ensure deliverables meet quality and technical content requirements through contract documents\nManage the technical execution to support the business considerations established for the project \nResponsible for the administration and technical management of the department \nAssign staffing for the Project Engineering positions on projects and proposals\nInstill and promote “Safety as a Value” culture \nAdministrative and technical management of the Project Engineering Department:Establish a budget and salary plan for the department\nIdentify and recruit staff for Project Engineering positions\nMaintain staffing levels appropriate to the projected workload\nProvide leadership and training for the professional development of staff\nIdentify and correct performance gaps\nMaintain Company processes and procedures related to Project Execution\n\nAllocate resources to provide quality, on time and cost-effective deliverables for projects and proposals\nResponsible for the integrity of the work produced\nResponsible for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control\nEnsure work is being coordinated with the other departments, offices, fabrication, and construction to meet project requirements\nEnsure proactive and effective management of change \nMonitor project performance and provide input and support as required\nParticipate in monthly Project Reviews\nExecute Project Engineering Assessment (PEA) for Project Engineering \nSupport proposal development\nSupport the Lessons Learned process and continuous improvement initiatives of the company\nOwn and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures\nEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures\nEnsure the timely completion years of proven experience in project engineering management\nManagement of offshore oil & gas projects at the EPC Detailed Engineering stage (fixed platforms and pipelines)\nExtensive Middle East project experience (required) with Adnoc project experience (preferred)\nExperience of multiple office engineering execution\nExcellent inter-personal, communication and influencing skills\nDiscipline engineer background\nB.Eng / B.Sc Engineering degree (minimum), Masters Degree / Chartered Engineer
