conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards\nDevelop creative and innovative solutions that are reliable and cost-effective for problems and challenges when they arise\nApply expertise to the most complex problems\nManage own time to meet objectives and (as Lead Engineer) forecast and plan resource requirements\nDevelop and manage plans to achieve business objectives\nClearly communicate and explain highly complex ideas and anticipate potential objections, influencing outcomes\nWhen acting as Lead Engineer, in addition:Direct large Engineering team as a Lead Engineer on most unique and complex projects\nLead the Discipline engineering design of the assigned work area and completed within evaluations of incoming bids from sellers and check same for completeness of scope and compliance with specification\nCheck all seller documents for completeness and compliance to the purchase order requisition\nPrepare input and run reports for the computerized piping material management systems\nLead and supervise all MTO & Control Engineers, ensuring high-quality MTOs and sound material quantity control on all projects\nIs responsible for all piping material take-off and quantity control activities, including checking and reporting\nEnsure a Piping Material Take-Off Planning Form is prepared and approved prior to the MTO activities on a project and an MTO Close-Out Report upon completion of the bulk MTO\nPrepare all types of Material Control reports, analyze all piping material quantity developments, and report findings to Project Management\nProvide advanced pipe stress calculations of critical systems, cooperate with Plant design on necessary modifications\nDesign adequate pipe supports\nCommunicate with the Civil/Structural department on Pipe-supporting structures\nPrepare and handle pipe support requisitions in accordance with project requirements\nEstablish and maintain interfaces with other disciplines\nMake calculations on the computer/by hand\nExecute all relevant administration\n\nTasks as Lead Engineer:Work as Lead Engineer for most large-size, unique, and complex EPC projects\nCoach potential lead engineers\nHave full responsibility for all engineering and design work on any project\nHave full control and manage work hours, materials, progress\nExplain and consider plans to Engineers, project management, and client\nRecommend best practices for the execution/improvement of the project\nWork in close liaison with the Design
