the appropriate guidelines and policies.\n Key Tasks and Responsibilities:\nPerform conceptual, FEED, Studies, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards\nDirect Engineering team as a Lead Engineer on small projects\nApply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations\nPrepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures\nManage own time to meet agreed deadlines and budgets and develop plans for short-term work activities in own area\nClearly communicate and explain complex issues and work to establish understanding\nTrains /mentors Engineers\nAssists MOPEX offices on projects\nHas a good understanding of the other engineering departments\nInitiates interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs\nProvide engineering support as required\nPerform engineering checks of drafting\nPerform engineering checks prepared by others within the discipline\nPerform design verification through single discipline check and assist with inter-discipline checks (IDC)\nPrepare MTOs of structures\nPrepare specifications\nPrepare subcontract documents\nReview of vendor data\nPrepare technical bid evaluations\nCheck designs for operational requirements, constructability, and act as area lead or deputy lead\nResponsible for all engineering and design work on small-size projects\nControl and manage work hours, materials, progress\nWork in close liaison with the Design Coordinator, area leads, etc.\nCoordinate with project management\nAssist Project Manager in:Preparing deliverable control\nPreparing schedule\nPreparing progress reports\nPreparing man-hour and Engineers and Designers\n Essential Qualifications and Education:\nBachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering\n8-15 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design\nPreferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of professional engineering society as applicable \nSeasoned knowledge of engineering standards and specifications\nGood knowledge of engineering software\nAble to work independently\nGood working knowledge of English, both oral and written\nHSE, TQM, and cost-conscious\nGood technical structural knowledge\nGood organizer, motivator, and supervisor\nKeen on improving the effectiveness of the work\nShow flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regards to:\nThe reassignment to other
