This role combines technical program management, Agile/Scrum leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance to ensure successful execution of platform capabilities supporting Data Platform Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML teams.\nThe ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of modern cloud-based data & AI/ML platforms, Agile delivery practices, and cross-functional team coordination. This person will act as the bridge between different teams across the shores and leadership to drive successful outcomes.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nData & AI/ML Platforms Program & Project Management\nLead end-to-end delivery of Data & AI Platform initiatives.\nDefine project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, milestones, and status reporting.\nDrive execution across multiple teams while ensuring alignment with business priorities.\nIdentify and manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans.\nTrack budget, resource allocation, and project progress.\nAgile & Scrum Leadership\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies including1. Sprint Planning\n2. Daily Standups\n3. Sprint Reviews\n4. Sprint Retrospectives\n5. Backlog Refinement \n\nMonitor sprint health, team velocity, burn-down metrics, and delivery commitments.\nRemove delivery impediments and escalate issues when required.\nCoach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.\nPartner with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs and prioritize work effectively.\nStakeholder Management\nServe as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.\nCommunicate project status, dependencies, risks, and outcomes to leadership.\nFacilitate discussions across engineering, product, architecture, operations, and business teams.\nBuild strong relationships across global teams and drive alignment on priorities.\nMetrics & Governance\nEstablish project governance frameworks and delivery dashboards \nMonitor and report KPIs, delivery metrics, and operational effectiveness.\nTrack milestone completion, sprint performance, release readiness, and adoption metrics.\nSupport executive reviews, steering committees, and leadership reporting.\nSkills\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.\n7+ years of experience in Data & AI/ML Platform initiatives.\n3+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.\nStrong experience on DevOps, Platform Administration, GCP platforms.\nKnowledge in operating as both Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master.\nExperience managing Agile delivery teams.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and platform delivery practices.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nExperience working with global and cross-functional teams.\n\nWork location: Hyderabad, India\nWork pattern: Full time role.\nWork mode: Hybrid\nAdditional Information:\nMcDonald’s is committed to providing qualified individuals with disabilities with reasonable accommodations to perform the essential functions of their jobs.
