We design experiences that support customers and restaurant team members at scale, partnering closely with product, engineering, and research teams. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Design Operations.\nJob Description\nThe Supervisor, Design Operations supports the Experience Design team by improving how design work gets done. This role focuses on operational execution, process improvement, platform support, and growing exposure to different Design Operations specialties and focus areas. You will work independently on scoped initiatives with guidance from Experience Design leaders.\nDuties\nEnable the Global Experience Design team by maintaining strong operational foundations and helping teams work effectively.\nPeople\nSupport onboarding and offboarding for full-time and contract XD team members, evolving documentation as business needs change.\nPlan and facilitate team routines, learning opportunities, and cultural initiatives.\nDraft and share routine team communications.\nProcess\nApply design and operational frameworks to improve workflows.\nIdentify operational gaps and friction points and recommend practical improvements.\nOwn small- to medium-scope initiatives, including process updates, templates, playbooks, and internal programs.\nPlatform\nMaintain and improve knowledge management systems, including Confluence and shared libraries.\nSupport design and research platforms by managing access and documenting best practices.\nQualifications\nSuccessful candidates bring practical operating skills and the mindset to effectively support design teams at scale.\nHard Skills\nBachelor’s degree in design, communication, HCI, applied social science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n2-4 years of experience in design operations, research operations, product design, or a related role.\nUnderstanding of how design work happens across design, research, product, and engineering.\nWorking knowledge of tools such as Figma, Confluence, UserTesting, and Dscout.\nFamiliarity with AI tools and workflows that support administration, design, and knowledge management.\nAbility to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work with moderate oversight.\nStrong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.\nBehaviors & Mindsets\nApplies design thinking and user-centered methods to their work.\nIdentifies gaps, connects dots across teams, and proposes practical solutions.\nBias for action, translating direction into execution with strong follow-through.\nSeeks feedback, listens well, and continuously learns.\nThinks in systems, understanding how tools, workflows, and behaviors connect and scale across the organization.\nCompensation\nBonus Eligible: YES\nBenefits Eligible: YES\nSalary Range\nThe expected salary range for this role is 104,482 -130,602 per year\nThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
