Joining McDonald's means thinking big and preparing for a career that can have influence around the world.\nWelcome to the team as\nGlobal Internal Audit Supervisor (m/f/d)\nTo strengthen our Global Internal Audit department, we are looking for you as an Internal Audit Supervisor (m/f/d) based in Munich, Germany.\nHere you fully engage in this international role with a global reporting line:\nLead and execute risk-based operational audits, SOX / Financial Reporting Controls testing, advisory engagements, and special projects in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards.\nAssess the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control processes, identifying risks, control gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.\nPlan and perform audit engagements from risk assessment and scoping through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up activities.\nDevelop clear, actionable audit observations and recommendations, present results to management, and facilitate constructive discussions with stakeholders at various organizational levels.\nMonitor and validate management's implementation of agreed action plans and remediation efforts.\nLeverage data analytics, technology, and continuous improvement practices to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and insight generation.\nSupport departmental initiatives, methodology enhancements, and strategic projects that contribute to the evolution of the Global Internal Audit function.\nCollaborate with colleagues and stakeholders worldwide, fostering strong relationships across diverse cultures, functions, and geographies.\nWe expect from you:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.\nAt least three years of professional experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, or a related assurance function.\nStrong understanding of risk-based auditing principles, internal controls, and governance frameworks.\nKnowledge of the Global Internal Audit Standards (IIA), SOX compliance, and leading internal audit practices.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound professional judgment.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior management.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while leading projects and collaborating in global, cross-functional teams.\nIntercultural competence and adaptability in an international environment with global stakeholders and reporting lines.\nProfessional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or progress toward certification are considered an advantage.\nFluent English required; additional languages are advantageous.\nWillingness to travel globally (approximately 50%)\n\nLook forward to:\nFlexible working hours, a laptop, and a company mobile phone\n\nThe opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week\n\n30 days of vacation plus an additional day off on your birthday\n\nWork remotely from another EU country for up to 20 days per year\n\nAccess to a wide range of sports and fitness activities through EGYM Wellpass\n\nExtensive training and professional development opportunities\n\nCareer growth and advancement opportunities\n\nComplimentary hot and cold beverages as well as a company-subsidized cafeteria\n\nOn-site daycare and kindergarten facilities\n\nLeasing options for bicycles, e-bikes, and cargo bikes\n\nCompany pension scheme offerings\n\nAccess to company-owned holiday apartments on Sylt and in Austria\n\nParticipation in company events (including summer parties, Oktoberfest visits, and Christmas celebrations)\n\nMcLunch: Connect with colleagues from other departments over lunch and expand your professional network\n\nHave you developed a taste for it?\nThen simply send us your application including a cover letter, resume, and relevant certificates, along with your salary expectations and the earliest possible start date.
